Zeus’ exotic color was brought out by Manda’s pale skin and the soft window light that I was able to take advantage of while photographing them.

I don’t remember exactly how it came up, but while Manda and I were corresponding to set up a shoot, she mentioned that she loved watermelon. The folks at Walmart thought I was crazy as I loaded twenty watermelons into my cart, and we got some strange looks from the neighbors as we carried them into Manda’s apartment, but it certainly was a fun shoot!
